Our team constructed the shuttering, reinforcement and subsequent concrete pour to create a new steel reinforced concrete base ready for our client to install their new waste compactor.

Excavation of trenches around the existing transformer to uncover the high voltage cables attached. This was to ensure that when the new transformer was lifted in place the existing cables could be attached quickly minimising the downtime of the transformer. Removal of security fencing for better access during the changeover. Reinstatement of ground and fencing once the transformer had been replaced.

Renovation of existing welfare facilities in an Engineers breakroom including canteen and kitchen area. Construction of new studwork walls and suspended ceilings.

Ongoing scheme to replace unserviceable and outdated wooden fire doors with new custom made-to-size metal fire doors for a client in a food manufacturing facility in Bury St Edmunds. All fire doors are 60 minute fire rated and can be made in any size, colour and glazing. Key card access can be provided via a motorised lock to work within your current access system if required.

Ongoing scheme of works to upgrade the current drainage in various areas of the British Sugar factory in Bury St Edmunds. We have currently installed over 100m of ACO channel drainage in various locations across the factory as well as replacement manholes and underground drainage solutions. This particular project pictured required around 18m of Stainless Steel ACO drainage to be installed in a food production area to deal with surface water between cleans. We broke out the existing factory floor, installed the drainage and laid a new concrete screed so that all standing water ran away from equipment and into the new drainage channels. The screed was finished with a resin coating.

This project required our team to break out an old concrete platform on the first floor of the factory which was around 100 years old and had deteriorated beyond repair. Due to the position of the deck and the load rating it could currently take, our team broke this out by hand and transferred the rubble via wheelbarrows to a rubble shoot around 15m away from the location. A herculean effort by all involved by anyone standards. Once this was demolished, a new Kingspan steel deck was installed by the clients steel contractors and we then installed the required reinforcement as required by the structural engineers design. After this we then mass poured a new concrete pad over the new deck using an inline concrete pump, we needed over 80m of pump line to reach the location!

Design, supply and installation of 3 HGV Kerb roundabouts within the Lorry Park at British Sugar Bury St Edmunds. These were to replace the existing plastic barriers previously used. Each roundabout was set together, steel rods were then installed into the back of each section with a resin anchor and the centre was infilled with concrete to ensure no movement when an HGV catches the roundabout.

Full single storey rear extension including groundworks, structural blockwork, bi-fold doors, rooflight, underfloor insulation, and full internal fit-out with herringbone flooring and kitchen installation.

We install a large array of security fencing solutions and barriers across commercial, industrial and agricultural sites throughout Suffolk and East Anglia. Our works include Armco vehicle impact barriers, V mesh and Palisade security fencing, Keyclamp modular handrail systems, and bespoke barrier configurations to suit site-specific requirements. All installations are carried out to manufacturer specifications with full risk assessments and method statements in place.
